Al Yoder

Al D. Yoder, 61 of Aurora, Colorado (originally from Arthur, Illinois) went home to be with his Heavenly Father on May 1, 2009 in Colorado

A visitation and funeral was held at the Peace Mennonite Community Church in Aurora, CO. Local funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 8, 2009 at the Arthur Mennonite Church, 710 East Park St. in Arthur, IL. Rev. Glen Rhodes will officiate. Burial will be in the Arthur Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday May 7, 2009 at the church. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting Al’s family with local arrangements.

Al was born on August 23, 1947 in Mattoon, IL. He was a son of Dan and Lovina (Beachy) Yoder.

He is survived by one sister, Esther Yoder of Arthur, IL; three brothers, Nelson (Anna) Yoder; Adlai Yoder all of Arthur IL and Dan (Arlene) Yoder of Colorado; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Ella Yoder (Kemp) and one brother, Reuben Yoder.

Al was a devoted family man who cherished each and every family member and delighted in spending time with them. He was an avid photographer and loved music and the great outdoors. He was well known in his career in the audio/video field, in both the public and private sectors, He had a business in Aurora, CO called Data Graphics Display. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
