ALBERT W. MOUTRAY, 88, of Mattoon, IL, passed away at 11:39 P.M. Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.
Albert was born December 28, 1919 in Coles County, IL. He was a son of Frank William and Ella (Maede) Moutray. He married Dorothy Alberta Morrow on April 14, 1956 in Mattoon, IL.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy Alberta Moutray of Mattoon, IL; nine children, Jackie Wallace of Long Poke, CA, Larry Moutray and his wife Mary of Charleston, IL, Terry Moutray and his wife Dana of Mattoon, IL, Dave Moutray and his fiancé Linda of Mattoon, IL, Lonnie Piercey of Kansas City, KS, Gloria Langley of Arcola, IL, Vickie Espinoza of Arcola, IL, Steve Piercey of Ohio and Bobbie Piercey of Portland OR, twenty five grandchildren; thirty four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren one brothers, Everett Moutray and one sister Flossie Moutray.
His parents, one daughter, one grandchild, three great-grandchildren, one brother Charles Moutray, and two sisters, Ruby Moutray and Mary Wallace preceded him in death.
Albert was a member of the Moose in Mattoon and the Nazarene Church in Mattoon.
He retired from Diamond E Packing of Mattoon, IL in 1984 with over thirty-five years of service.
