Alejandro Perze

ALEJANDRO PEREZ, 10, of Arcola, IL passed away at 11:19 P.M. Monday, January 25, 2010 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.

Funeral Mass was held at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Arcola, IL. Father Barry Harmon officiated. Visitation was held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola, IL. Burial was in the Arcola Cemetery.

Alejandro was born on October 17, 1999 in Urbana, IL. He is the son of Arturo Alejandro and Sandra Perez Cortez.

He is survived by his parents, Arturo Alejandro and Sandra Perez Cortez; one brother, Diego Perez; maternal grandparents, Jesus and Sanjuana Cortez; paternal grandparents, Perfecto Alturo and Maria Christina Perez all of Arcola; Maternal great-grandmother, Elvira Salinas of Cadereryta, Mexico and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather and his paternal great-grandparents.

Alejandro was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church of Arcola.

He was a fourth grade student in Miss Miller’s class at Arcola Elementary School. He enjoyed playing and was very good at soccer.
