ALMA PLANK, 87, of Lovington, IL passed away at 4:25 P.M. on Thursday, December 25, 2008 at her residence.

Alma was born on December 18, 1921 in Arthur, IL. She was a daughter of Solomon D. and Maryan (Stutzman) Beachy. She married Ezra Plank on November 26, 1942 in Arthur, IL.

She is survived by her husband, Ezra Plank of Lovington, IL; seven children, Elmer Edward Plank and his wife Martha of Arthur, IL, Elvin Noah Plank and his wife Lisa Lynn of Indianapolis, IN, Wilmer E. Plank and his wife Lovina of Tuscola, IL, Howard E. Plank and his wife Mary of Arthur, IL, Catherine E. Plank of Lovington, IL, Ruth Ann Miller and her husband Richard of Goshen, IN and Reuben Henry Plank and his wife Clara Ann of Lovington, IL; 30 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren; one brother, Elmer Beachy and his wife Millie of Sarasota, FL and three sisters, Edna Plank and her husband Andy of Charlotte, MI, Barbara Otto and her husband John of Arthur, IL and Clara Yoder of Arthur, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Mary E. Plank, a stillborn grandson, David Miller and a brother-in-law, Noah Yoder.

Alma was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Bishop Howard Miller will officiate.

Interment

Sunday December 28, 2008 at Otto Cemetery

Burial will be held immediately following the funeral service.
