Alvin Schrock

ALVIN L. “SUNSHINE” SCHROCK, 60, of Arthur, IL passed away at 7:20 P.M. on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Otto Center in Arthur, IL. Bishop Lavern Schrock will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery in Arthur, IL. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to late evening on Saturday, November 26, 2011 and from 9:00 A.M. to late evening on Sunday, November 27, 2011 and prior to the service on Monday, all at the Otto Center in Arthur, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Sunshine was born on December 10, 1950 in Tuscola, IL. He was son of Levi E. and Clara J. (Beachy) Schrock.

He is survived by two sisters, Edna Fern Schrock and her husband Reuben of Arcola, IL and Deloris Ann Hostetler and her husband Neil of Arthur, IL; one sister-in-law, Viola Schrock of Arthur, IL and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Lewis Lavern Schrock.

Sunshine had worked at Master Brand Cabinets in Arthur, IL.
