ANGEL HECTOR VARGAS, infant son of Esteban and Zaida Vargas of Humboldt, IL passed away at 11:45 P.M. on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the LifePointe Church, 700 East Main in Arcola, IL. Rev. Marvin Yoder officiated. Burial was in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to the funeral at the church. The Edwards Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.

Angel Hector Vargas was born at 11:16 P.M. on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at home. He is the son of Esteban Ramon and Zaida Nereida (Salinas) Vargas.
He is survived by his parents, Esteban and Zaida Vargas; three half-sisters, Elina Vargas of Arcola, IL and Esther and Esmeralda Vargas both of Rio Grande City, TX; paternal grandparents, Esteban and Martina Vargas of Rio Grande City, TX; maternal grandmother, Martha Gonzalez and her husband Jose of Arcola, IL; an aunt, Yubanna Salinas of Arcola, IL an uncle, Hector Salinas of Arcola, IL and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Hector Salinas.
