Angela Hernandez

Angela Renee Hernandez, 49, of Garrett, IL passed away at 1:15 PM on Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Tuscola Health Care Center.

A memorial service will be held at New Life Church in Sullivan, IL at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Pastor Dave Dolan will officiate. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Angela was born on March 12, 1975 in Decatur, IL. She was a daughter of Richard A. and Eva Marie (Judy) Reed. She married Armando Hernandez Jr. on February 29, 2012 in Sullivan, IL.

She is survived by her husband, Armando Hernandez Jr. of Garrett, IL, six children, Kimberly, Abigail, Benjamin, Olivia, and Julianna Hernandez, her eldest son Tristin Minard and his wife Leah, her mother, Eva Marie Reed of Sullivan, IL, brothers-in-law, Jose Hernandez and his wife Melinda of Garrett, IL and Rolando Hernandez of Natalia of El Paso, TX.

She was preceded in death by her father, twin daughters, one brother, Travis Reed, and a sister-in-law, Maria Hernandez.

Angela graduated from Lovington High School.

She had worked at Eagle Creek Resort in Finely, IL, the Moultrie Beacon as a house manager in Sullivan, IL, and at the Holiday Inn in Tuscola, IL. Angela enjoyed spending time with her family.
