Anna Chupp

Anna J. Chupp, 84 of Arthur, IL passed away at 12:30 A.M. on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Eberhardt Village in Arthur, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at the HCK West Building HCK, one mile south of Arthur, IL.  Burial will be in the Yoder Cemetery in rural Arthur, IL.  Visitation will be held any time after 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 11, 2019 at the HCK West Building.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Anna was born on August 11, 1935 in Goshen, IN.   She was a daughter of Jonas J. and Sylvia (Miller) Schrock.  She married Elvin L. Chupp on August 16, 1956 in Douglas County.  He passed away on May 25, 2007.

She is survived by seven children, Eldon Chupp and his wife Betty (Miller), of Chesterville, IL Olen Chupp and his wife Lucy (Bontreger) of Arthur, IL, Carolyn Gingerich and her husband Paul of Atwood, IL, Mary Ellen Kaufman and her husband Lloyd of Arthur, IL, Danny Chupp and his wife Lorette (Yoder) of Mahomet, IL, Levi Chupp and his wife Sue (Winskill) of Arthur, IL and Esther Kaufman and her husband Steve of Tuscola, IL; twenty-five grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Fannie Miller of Sarasota, FL and Lena Schrock of Arthur, IL

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elvin, one son Melvin and three brothers, Jake, Daniel and Joseph Schrock.

Anna was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
