Anna Plank

ANNA PLANK, 86, of Arthur, IL passed away at 1:15 A.M. on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at her residence in rural Arthur, IL.

Funeral services was held at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, April 5, 2010 at the family residence, 53 East County Road 100 North in rural Arthur, IL. Bishop Amos Bontrager officiated. Burial was in the Yoder Cemetery in rural Arthur, IL.
Visitation was anytime before the funeral at the family residence. The Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola, IL assisted with arrangements.

Anna was born on February 20, 1924 in Arthur, IL. She was a daughter of Andrew L. and Lydia (Schrock) Mast. She married Joni Plank on December 7, 1944 in Arthur, IL.

She is survived by her husband, Joni Plank of Arthur, IL; four children, Carolyn Plank of Arthur, IL, Rosmary Yoder and her husband Eli of Arcola, IL, Sara Mae Stutzman and her husband Ervin of Sullivan, IL and Marlin J. Plank and his wife Edna Fern of Arthur, IL; twenty seven grandchildren and sixty three great-grandchildren; one brother, Fred Mast and his wife Mary of Mifflinburg, PA; one sister, Sovilla Gingerich and her husband Elva of Arthur, IL; two sister-in-laws Lois Mast of Carmi, IL and Mary Ann Mast of Arthur, IL and one brother-in-law, Abe Gingerich of Arthur, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one great-granddaughter, Sharon Yoder; four brothers, William, Jonas, Levi and Joe Mast and two sisters, Sarah Gingerich and Rebecca Hochstedler.

Anna was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.
