Anthony Roberts

ANTHONY RAYMOND “TONY” ROBERTS, 57, of Tuscola, IL passed away at 4:30 P.M. on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at his residence.

Tony was born on November 15, 1961 in Paris, IL.  He was a son of Jack Edward and Ruby Mae (Duvall) Roberts.  He married Laurie Lansing on February 14, 2008 in Largo, FL.

Survivors include his mother, Ruby Roberts-Pangburn and her husband Charles of Mattoon, IL, one brother, Gregory Thomas Roberts of Pinellas Park, FL, his uncle, Tom Roberts of Corona, CA, and his wife, Laurie Roberts of Eldorado, KS.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Edward Roberts and his grandparents.

Tony was a 1981 graduate of Tuscola High School.

Tony has driven a semi since 1996.  Having worked for McLane Trucking out of Danville, IL, MBM Trucking out of Lakeland, FL, and most recently for Liquid Transport out of Tuscola, IL.

To honor Tony’s wishes, no formal services will be held.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting the family.
