ASHLEA DAWN “SPIKE” HERSCHBERGER, 27, of Arthur, IL passed away at 12:12 A.M. on Wednesday, October, 26, 2011 in Douglas County, IL.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main Street in Arcola, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Arcola Center located at the Corner of Rt. 45 and Main Street in Arcola, IL. Rev. Kenny Bontrager will officiate. Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery.

Ashlea was born on November 1, 1983 in Las Vegas, NV. She was a daughter of Stephen Michael and Carol (Coad) Lyons. She married Greg Herschberger on January 21, 2011 in Gatlinburg, TN.

Ashlea is survived by her husband, Greg Herschberger of Arthur, IL; her parents, Carol and Rod Pollock of Arcola, IL; one sister, Kylea Marie Lyons of Summerland, SC; her grandmothers, Wilma Jean Hickcox of Arcola, IL and Marie Lyons of Punxsutawney, PA, and several aunts uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Michael Lyons, one brother Corey James Lyons, her maternal grandfather, Donald Glen Coad and her paternal grandfather, Jim Lyons.

Ashlea was employed at 45 Wayside in Pesotum, IL.

She was a member of the Solid Rock Chapel in Sullivan, IL.

Ashlea enjoyed camping, jeeping and being an aunt to her nephew Ryder Pollock. Ashlea really enjoyed life.
