AVA SUEANN WESTFALL, 1, of Arcola, IL passed away at 12:55 A.M. Friday, December 10, 2010 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

Graveside funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the Toledo Cemetery in Toledo, IL. Rev. Ronnie D. Juenger officiated. The Edwards funeral Home assisted Ava’s family with arrangements.

Ava was born on March 3, 2009 in Peoria, IL. She was a daughter of Jacob T. Westfall and Kathy J. Oakley.

She is survived by her father, Jacob T. Westfall of St. Elmo, IL and her mother Kathy Oakley of Arcola, IL; one brother, Ashton Westfall of Arcola, IL; maternal grandparents, Dan Oakley of Toledo, IL and Pamela Brunken and her husband Scott of Tower Hill, IL; paternal grandfather, Jerry Dunn of Mattoon, IL; maternal great-grandparents, Alvin and Vivian Oakley of Greenup and her paternal great-grandparents Marilyn and Jim Blan of Mattoon, IL

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Sue Ann Dunn and Rick Westfall.

Ava attended First General Baptist Church in Mattoon, IL.

She fought a courageous battle with heart problems that she has had from birth.

Memorials were made to Children’s Hospital of Illinois in Peoria, IL
