Barbara Darlene Beliz Sinclair

Barbara Darlene Beliz Sinclair, 47, of Fort McCoy, FL formerly of Mattoon, IL passed away at 12:30 PM on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Hospital - North in Lutz, FL. 

Barbara was born on March 29, 1977 in Mattoon, IL. She was the daughter of Robin Young and Sali Bean of Mattoon, IL. She married Matthew Sinclair on May 5, 2017, in Ocala, FL. 

She is survived by her husband, Matthew Sinclair of Fort McCoy, FL, 5 children, Brooke Beliz (Matt Matilsky) of Ocala, FL, Ethan Beliz of Ocala, FL, Donovan Sinclair of Mt. Vernon, IL,Hunter Sinclair of Mt. Vernon, IL, and Klyeigh Sinclair of Mt. Vernon, IL; 3 canine companions, Cosmo, Cleo, and Dolly; 2 sisters, Terri (Jerehmy) Vaughn of Arcola, IL and Kimberly Dobbs of Mattoon, IL; 3 grandkids, Roman Beliz, Oakland Matilsky, and Denver Matilsky; 4 nephews, Trevor Watkins, Alex McGuire, Nicholas Vaughn, and Jerehmy Vaughn Jr.; 1 niece, Hope Dobbs; 1 grandma, Janis Young of Mattoon, IL; and several aunts and uncles.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Robin Young and Sali Bean; stepdad, Roger Bean; grandparents, Robert Young, Tom Bean, Nedra Bean, Robert Jordan, Barbara Farris, and Norma Jordan, and a niece, Macee Dobbs. 

Barbara earned her associate’s degree in human services from Lake Land College in 2013 and earned her Bachelor of Science in family and consumer sciences from Eastern Illinois University in 2015. Barbara was always busy spending time with family, attending neighborhood gatherings, boating, attending concerts, and riding the side-by-side and golf cart. 

Barbara will be missed by everyone who knew her, including her work friends, family, and neighbors. Barbara was known by many as Barbie. 

A celebration of life will take place on March 21, 2025 at 6 PM at the Demars Center in Mattoon, IL.
