Biography BARBARA C. REIMER, 76, of Mattoon, IL passed away at 10:39 A.M. on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 8, 2009 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Mattoon, IL. Rev. Rachel Doolin will officiate. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting Barbara’s family with arrangements.
Barbara was born on April 25, 1933 in Mattoon, IL. She was a daughter of Harry A. and Frances M. (Wise) Dee. She married Herald Reimer on May 10, 1975 in Mattoon, IL. He passed away on March 11, 2009.
Barbara is survived by five sisters, Roberta Russell of Springfield, IL, Betty Schweitzer and her husband Arnold of Puyallup, WA, Dorothy Gano of Mattoon, IL Norma Mussman of Mattoon, IL and Carla Jones and her husband Leon of Hayward, WI and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, William Dee and one sister, Peggy Keigley.
Barbara worked in healthcare for doctors, nursing homes and hospitals.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
