Ben Miller

BEN A. MILLER, 84, of Arthur, IL passed away at 5:30 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2008 at his residence rural Arthur, IL.

Ben was born March 28, 1924 in Arthur, IL. He was a son of Ammon and Mattie (Miller) Miller. He married Barbara S. Otto on December 23, 1943, she passed away April 22, 1998. He later married Alma Beachy on May 4, 1999 in Arthur, IL.

Survivors include his wife Alma Miller of Arthur, IL; two sons Gary Miller and his wife Verna Kay (Mast) and Willard Miller and his wife Katie Louise (Schrock) and one daughter Rachel Fern Miller and her husband Merle all of Arthur, IL; 9 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren; three brothers Jonas Miller and his wife Fannie of Hindsboro, IL, Eli Miller of Arthur, IL and Daniel Miller of Garrett, IL; one sister Edna Miller of Middleburg, IN and one sister in-law Nona Miller of Howe, IN

His parents, his first wife Barbara, one sister Lizzie Ann Bontrager; three brothers Alvin, Samuel and Elmer preceded him in death.

Ben was a farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.
