Brian David Ritchie

BRIAN DAVID RITCHIE, 51 of Tuscola, IL passed away at 1:47 P.M. Sunday, February 12, 2023 at his residence.

Services will take place at a later date in California, where he will be laid to rest next to his grandparents.

Brian was born October 13, 1971 in Riverside, CA.  He was the son of William Luis Ritchie Jr and Donna Marie (Lovan) Steele.  

He is survived by his dad William Luis Ritchie Jr of Woodward, OK and his mother Donna Marie Steele of Riverside, CA;  2 brothers William Luis Steele III of Riverside, CA, and James Steele and his wife Caroline of Lake Arrowhead, CA; step-children Amber Skinner and her husband Jason of Pinckneyville, IL, Amy Eastman and her husband Mike of Charleston, IL and Bryan Thomas and his wife Alexandria of Arcola, IL; his step-mother Wilma Roberts of Arcola; 4 nieces, Ashlyn, Mya, Kelly and Amanda and 2 nephews Alexander and Nicholas all of California and 7 step-grandchildren.

Brian was preceded in death by a half-brother David Steele.

Brian had worked in the Tuscola area for several years.  He worked at Bulk Tech in Arcola welding on tanks and later worked for Tuscola Builders as a Truck Driver. 

Brian was a hard worker and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
