CAROL ELIZABETH PLANK, infant daughter of Wilmer H. and Treva K. (Herschberger) Plank was stillborn at 10:43 A.M. on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, IL.

A funeral service will be held for Carol on Thursday, April 2, 2009 in the afternoon. Burial will be in the Yoder Cemetery in rural Arthur, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Carol is survived by her parents, Wilmer and Treva Plank of Arcola, IL; one brother, Gerald Wayne Plank; four sisters, Amanda Ruth, Rosanne Christine, Leanna Janell and Lisa Marlene Plank all at home; Maternal grandparents, Omer E. and Martha L. (Miller) Herschberger of Arcola, IL; Paternal Grandparents, Harvey J. and Sadie (Schlabach) Plank of Arcola, IL; maternal great grandparents, Ervin and Esther Herschberger of Humboldt, IL and Mattie Schlabach of Arthur, IL and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Carol was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Fred Schlabach, Tillie Herschberger, Jacob and Katie Plank and Levi and Lydia Miller and an uncle Samuel Ray Herschberger.

Carol’s family is members of the Old Order Amish church.
