CELESTA MARIE YODER, 54, of Arthur, IL passed away at 3:30 A.M. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Visitations will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Trinity Christian Fellowship, 1774 CR 1800 N, in rural Sullivan, IL, also from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, September, 12, 2015 at Trinity Christian Fellowship. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the Otto Center, 2058 CR 1800 E in rural Arthur, IL. Rev. Wilbur Gingerich will officiate. Burial will be in the Trinity Christian Fellowship Cemetery in rural Sullivan, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Celesta was born on November 13, 1960 in Decatur, IL. She was a daughter to Fred J. and Martha (Miller) Otto. She married Robert L. Yoder on September 28, 1978 in Humboldt, IL.

She is survived by her husband Robert Yoder, five children, Kenny A. Yoder, his wife Luella and their children Makayla, Clayton, Cortney and Diana Yoder of Arthur, IL, Racheal L. Knepp, her husband Dewayne and their child Destiny Knepp of Sarasota, FL, Loretta A. Gingerich, her husband Nelson and their children Skyler, Brooklyn and Preston Gingerich of Arthur, IL, Karen M. Yoder, her husband Dean and child Cooper Yoder of Millersburg, OH, and Lynette R. Yoder and her child Damian Yoder of Sarasota, FL, her mother, Martha of Humboldt, IL, siblings, Betty Miller and her husband Howard of Arthur, IL, Nancy Miller and her husband Ervin of Arcola, IL, Omer Otto and his wife Lorene of Humboldt, IL, William Otto and his wife Kathryn of Arcola, IL, Willis Otto and his wife Dorothy of Humboldt, IL and Jerry Otto and his wife Sarah of Arthur, IL.

She was preceded in death by her father, an infant son, Kevin Yoder, a stillborn sister, Barbara Otto, one nephew, Earl Otto, one great niece, Cynthia Yoder, and one great infant niece, Carly Otto.

Celesta was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Christian Fellowship in Arthur, IL.
