Cheryl Schrock

CHERYL ANN SCHROCK, 68, of Arcola, IL passed away at 11:58 A.M. on Monday, May 22, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola, IL.  Rev. Bill Ramsey will officiate.  Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the funeral home.

Cheryl was born on June 29, 1948 in Indianapolis, IN.  She was a daughter of Charles G. and Jaqueline (Anderson) Logue.  She married Lawrence J. Schrock on May 16, 1970 in Indianapolis, IN.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Schrock of Arcola, IL; two sons, David Schrock and his special friend and Cheryl’s caregiver, Jean Anne Embry, of Arcola, IL, and Jon Schrock and his wife Anna of Sullivan, IL; four grandchildren, Colten Schrock of Mattoon, IL and Jon Jr., Mariah and Eric Schrock all of Sullivan, IL; and one sister, Mary K. Morton of Indianapolis, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Lisa Ann Schrock; and three infant grandchildren, Carmen, Cody and Cameron Schrock.

Cheryl grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Washington High School in Indianapolis in 1966.  She then attended Greenville College for one semester.  After school she went to work at Farm Bureau Insurance and later worked at Marion County General Hospital in Indianapolis where she met Lawrence.

Cheryl was a member of the Arcola Free Methodist Church where she also taught Sunday school.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Arcola Lions Club or the Arcola Free Methodist Church.
