Chester Detweiler

CHESTER ALAN DETWEILER, 17, of Arthur, IL passed away at 3:15 A.M. on Sunday, April 10, 2011 in rural Arcola, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the Marion Miller residence, 1618 East County Road 2000 North, Arthur, IL. Bishop Howard Miller will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery. Visitation will be any time after 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Marion Miller residence in rural Arthur, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Chester was born on May 23, 1993 in Wautoma, WI. He was a son of Chester E. and Amanda C. (Herschberger) Detweiler

He is survived by his parents Chester E. and Amanda Detweiler, one brother, Reuben Lynn Detweiler and his girlfriend, Diane Schrock; four sisters, Fannie Mae Schrock and her husband Daniel, Rebecca Kay Detweiler, Verna Rosann Detweiler and Amanda Marie Detweiler all of Arthur, IL; paternal grandparents, Eli T. and Naomi C. (Gingerich) Detweiler of Jamesport, MO and his maternal grandparents, Chris and Fannie D. (Kauffman) Herschberger of Bloomfield, IA.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Lena Fern Detweiler.

Chester worked for Graber Buildings.
