Biography

CHRISTINE M. McFADYEN, 46, of Tuscola, IL passed away at 3:53 P.M. on Saturday, September 15th, 2012 at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, IL surrounded by family members and her best friend Jessica Hardwick of New Hampshire.

A gathering honoring the memory of Christine will be held from 12:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 23rd, 2012 at her mother’s residence at 805 E. Scott St., Tuscola, IL. Interment will be at a later date in New Hampshire. The Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola is assisting the family with arrangements.

Christine was born December 9th, 1965 in Nashua, NH. She was a daughter of William C. McFadyen and Mary Jane (Jackson) Lescarbeau.

Survivors include her mother Mary Jane Lescarbeau of Tuscola, IL; her father William C. McFadyen and his wife Edie of Center Conway, NH; 6 siblings: Cindy McCrory and her husband Doug of Tuscola, IL, Jane Alagna and her husband Steve of Derry, NH, Jeff McFadyen and his wife Barbara of Tewksbury, MA, Norma Tavares and her husband Mike of Effingham, NH, Steve Jones of Jacksonville, FL and Michelle Rennie of Berwick, ME; nieces and nephews: Carly, Sarah, Jackson, and Halle McCrory, Lindsey and Meghan Alagna, Heather, Kyle, and Connor McFadyen, Noah, Ethan and Emma Flemming and Dominick, Samantha and Selina Tavares; and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and Paul and Carol Gagnon.

Christine graduated from Pelham High School in Pelham, NH. She was a Certified Pharmacy Technician for 6 years at Wal-Mart in Savoy and she also worked at Corningware Corelle in Tuscola.

Christine enjoyed a well-written book, watching movies, and playing board games with family and friends. She had her own unmistakable sense of humor and believed in family, friendship, and God – but in her own terms.

The family wishes to thank everyone who helped Christine including co-workers, friends, and everyone in the medical community. She made a significant impact on all those who knew her and her love and laughter will be greatly missed.
