Colin Taylor

Colin Taylor, 78, of Oakland, IL passed away at 4:50 P.M. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at his residence.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main St., Arcola, IL. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery in rural Hindsboro, IL.

Colin was born on October 1, 1942, in Champaign County.  He was a son of Glenn Howard and Gladys Jewel (Gammon) Taylor.  He married Virginia Pearl Clough on September 7, 1967, in Camargo, IL.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia, and son, Ronald Eugene Taylor, both of Oakland, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and half-sister, Amarillo Suzanne Taylor.

Colin had worked at Oakland Farm Supply several years ago and also at Okaw Truss in Chesterville, IL for several years.  He enjoyed fishing, trapping and deer hunting.
