Dale Hutchcraft

DALE HUTCHCRAFT, 72, of Arthur, IL passed away at 10:08 P.M. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Arthur Home.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Vine Street Christian Church, 249 South Vine St. in Arthur, IL. Rev. Dawn Ingram will officiate. Burial will be in the Arthur Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Vine Street Christian Church in Arthur, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Dale was born on July 22, 1941 in Arthur, IL. He was a son of Don E. and Dorothy (Davis) Hutchcraft. He married Grace Mitchell on July 22, 1965 in Arthur, IL.

Dale is survived by his wife, Grace of Arthur, IL, three children, Jeff Hutchcraft and his wife Janice of Atwood, IL, Jamie Daugherty and her husband Josh of Atwood, IL and Jim Hutchcraft of Bement, IL; three grandchildren: Faithlyn Daugherty, Xander Hutchcraft, and Skye Tieman; and two sisters, Donna Edwards of Humboldt, IL and Deanna Dallas of Arthur, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Robert Eugene Hutchcraft.

Dale retired from Progress Industries in Arthur, IL in 2006 with 44 years of service.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting mushrooms, working in the yard, and attending all of his grandkids ballgames.
