Darren James Plank

DARREN JAMES PLANK, 17 of Arthur, IL passed away at 9:25 P.M. on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at the Otto Center, South of Arthur, IL. Bishop David E. Schrock will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery in Rural Arthur, IL. Visitation will be any time after 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 15, 2024 and any time after 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 all at the Otto Center. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Darren was born on April 23, 2007 in Urbana, IL. He is a son of Glendon H. and Susan E. (Chupp) Plank. 

He is survived by his parents Glendon and Susan Plank, six siblings, LaWayne Ray Plank and his wife Linda (Miller), Galen Matthew Plank and his special friend Lena Yoder, Maria LeAnn Plank, Jayden Daniel Plank, Marlayna Beth Plank and Kaitlyn Renae Plank; his paternal grandparents, Howard E. and Mary B. (Schrock) Plank; his maternal grandmother, Alta (Hochstetler) Chupp, his maternal great-grandmother, Elizabeth Chupp, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Darren was preceded in death by his Maternal grandfather, Elva E. Chupp, maternal great-grandparents, Joe and Gertrude Hochstetler and Ervin M. Chupp as well as his paternal great-grandparents, Ezra and Alma Plank and Ben and Lucy Schrock.
