David Dilliner

David Wayne Dilliner, 65, passed away on June 24, 2018 in Arcola, Illinois.  He was the son of the late George E. Dilliner and Wanda L. Dilliner.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main St., Arcola, Illinois. Rev. Jeff Van Dyke will officiate.  Burial will be immediately following in the Arcola Township Cemetery. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

David was born in Tuscola, Illinois on October 23, 1952. He graduated from Arcola High School in 1970 and continued on to receive an Associate Degree from Parkland Community College. David was a retired farmer. He had also worked at Cabot for many years and prior to that was a semi-truck driver.

David is survived by his mother, Wanda L. Dilliner; his two sisters, Beverly (Jerry) McGee, and Angela (Bob) Adamson; his nephews, Jon McGee, Chris McGee, Jeremy McGee and nieces Carmen Van O'Linda and Candace Tierney. David was preceded in death by his nephew the late Benjamin McGee. David also leaves behind caring relatives and friends.

David was an active member in the Arcola Lions Club. He participated in delivering Christmas Baskets, working Broom Corn Festivals, delivering medical equipment to those in need, and other community services through the Lions Club. David was also member of the Arcola United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be given to the Arcola Lions Club and/or the Arcola United Methodist Church.
