Biography DEANNA JUNE KOEHN, 47, of Lovington, IL passed away at 10:40 A.M. Tuesday, December 8, 2009 in Moultrie County.
Funeral Services were held at 1:30 pm on Friday, December 11, 2009 at the Prairie Mennonite Church, 164 E CR 700 N, rural Arthur, IL. Rev. Greg Wenger officiated. Visitation was held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the Church. Burial was in the Prairie Mennonite Church Cemetery. The Edwards Funeral Home assisted with funeral arrangements.
Deanna was born on June 2, 1962 in Chickasha, OK. She was a daughter of Ervin and Verna June Jantz. She married Elton Ray Koehn on May 10, 1981 in Chickasha, OK.
She is survived by her husband Elton; two daughters, Jaidi Koehn and her husband Justin, and Heather Koehn all of Lovington, IL; one granddaughter, Alexa Koehn of Lovington, IL; her parents, Ervin and Verna Jantz of Goshen, IN; one brother, Gregory Jantz and his wife Janet of Grandview, Idaho and one sister Cynthia Smith and her husband Roger of DeRidder, Louisiana
She was a member of the Prairie Mennonite Church.
Deanna loved her family, homemaking, and giving herself in unselfish service to others. She found special joy in youth-group responsibilities.
