DEBORA L. CLOUGH, 55, of Charleston, IL passed away at 6:45 A.M. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at her residence in Charleston, IL, after a long and courageous battle with cancer
A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main in Arcola, IL followed by a graveside funeral service at the Union Cemetery in rural Hindsboro, IL at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, July 2, 2010.
Debora was born on July 23, 1954 in Tuscola, IL. She was a daughter of Joseph Layle and Pearl Lucille (Tate) Clough.
She is survived by her very special friend and companion Mike Mills of Charleston, IL; one daughter, Angel L. Nixon of Charleston, IL; two sons, Joseph C. and Anthony W. Nixon both of Charleston, IL; eight grandchildren, Joshua L. Nixon of Charleston, IL, Joseph Wade Nixon of Charleston, IL Jas Colton Brummer and Jared Brummer both of Jewett, IL, Jack Nixon, Jade Nixon, Jenessa Sylvester and Jessica D. Fitt all of Charleston, IL; three brothers, Wayne Clough of Greenup, IL Allan and Bruce Clough both of Borton, IL and three sisters, Virginia Taylor and her husband Colin of Oakland, IL, Linda Mitchell and her Husband Joe of Mattoon, IL and Pamela Frericks of Borton, IL.
Debora was a loyal and devoted friend, sister, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
