Delbert Ray "Dude" Davis, 69, formerly of Arcola, passed away March 5, 2011 at his home in Ottumwa, Iowa.
He was born October 13, 1941 in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee to Raymond Davis and Alma Lee Hudson.
He attended Arcola High School and married Saundra "Sandy" Hilligoss in 1960. He was a lifetime member of the Brotherhood of Boilermakers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Sandy, and his sister Shirley Braunig.
He leaves behind his two children, Kent Davis and Kim Houser, both of Tennessee;
two grandchildren, Brittany Gartrell and Dylan Houser, and two Great-Grandchildren, Brody and Bella Gartrell, all of Florida; his brother Danny Davis of Arizona and his sister Sue Krasnoborski of New Jersey.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola, IL.
