Dolores Green

DOLORES A. GREEN, 89, of Arcola, IL formerly of Florissant, MO, passed away at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the Arthur Home.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 17, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Catholic church in Arcola, IL. Father Barry Harmon will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass from 10:00 A.M.– 11:00 A.M. at the church. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting Dolores’s family with arrangements.

Dolores was born January 20, 1920 in St. Louis, MO. She was a daughter of Edward and Agnes (Murphy) Kelly. She married Gregory F. Green March 17, 1945 in St. Louis, MO. He passed away October 2, 1983.

Survivors include one daughter Karen Noyes and her husband Dale of Arcola, IL; two grandsons Chris Noyes of Arcola, IL and Adam Noyes of Morton, IL and one brother James Kelly and his wife LaVerne of Arnold, MO.

Her parents; her husband; three sisters Kay Kelly, Dorothy Kelly and Mary Ainsworth; and two brothers Edward Kelly and Jerry Kelly preceded her in death.

Dolores was a Homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting doing crossword puzzles and was a St. Louis Cardinal Fan.

Memorials may be made to the Arthur Home or the St. Louis University School of Medicine.
