DONALD B. BINION, 68,of Atwood, IL passed away at 5:15am Friday, August 15, 2008 and his residence.
Don was born on August 17, 1939 in Scottville, KY. He was a son of Roy and Flossie (York) Binion. He married Vada Hilliard on February 22, 1958, in Hernando, MS.
He is survived by his wife Vada Binion of Atwood, IL; three children; Vinita Sanchez and her husband Domingo of Wilmington, IL, Gaylin Binion and his wife Karen, of Sadorus, IL, and Laura Binion and her fiancé Jeremy McGuire of Arthur, IL; five brothers; Red Binion, Robert Binion and his wife Helen, and Billy Binion all of Arthur,IL; Wilbur Binion and his wife Ann and James Binion and his wife Ilene all of Sullivan and one sister Doris Rich of Arthur; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
His parents, one sister Clarine Howard and one brother Neal Binion preceded him in death.
Don was an Air Force Veteran. He retired from Progress Industries in Arthur, IL with over 30 years of service. Don was saved in the Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping, fishing and was a big NASCAR fan and car enthusiast, but he especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
