Donald E. Miller, 77, of Arthur, IL passed away at 2:55 P.M. Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at the Arthur Home.
Mr. Miller was born on December 29, 1930 in La Grange, IN to Milo U. and Mildred (Mishler) Miller. He married Amanda Yutzy in Arthur, IL on May 9, 1954. She survives. Also surviving are their three children: Michelle Welsh and her husband Wendell of Lakeland, FL; Brent Miller of Oakland, IL and Dennis Miller and his wife Tina of Decatur, IL. Also two grandchildren: Zach Miller and Parnelle Miller. Two brothers: Deldon Miller and his wife Clarabelle of La Grange, IL and Dean Miller of Columbia City, IN. Also two sisters: Dorene Kauffman and her husband Carl of Haleyville, AL and Doris Loy and her husband Gary of New Salisbury, IN.
Don spent most of his life as a salesman for Taystee bread, Schrock Kitchens and Yoder Cabinets.
Don enjoyed traveling, going to old car shows, working in the yard and meeting with his friends every morning at the coffee shop, where all the news was shared and discussed.
Visiting with guest at his Bed & Breakfast, making coffee and telling jokes for them was also a joy. His mission trips to Russia and Honduras were a real learning experience.
