Dorothy Schrock

Dorothy Schrock, 79 of Arthur, IL passed away at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the HCK West Building, 2008 CR 1800 East, one mile south of Arthur, IL.  Bishop Daniel Chupp will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 18, 2020 and from 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the HCK West Building.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Dorothy was born on September 8, 1941 to Alvin and Lovina (Beachey) Beachy.  She married Ervin A. Schrock on October 15, 1959 in Arthur, IL.  He preceded her in death on December 3, 2014.

She is survived by five children, Viola Otto and her husband Daniel of Arthur, IL, Larry Schrock and his wife Marjorie (Miller) of Kokomo, IN, Darlene Otto and her husband Aden of Arthur, IL, Steven Schrock and his wife Lina (Rodas) of Kokomo, IN and LeAnn Gingerich and her husband Wilbur of Arthur, IL, sixteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; three sisters, Viola (Andy) Yoder of Auburn, KY, Betty (Vernon) Miller of Middlebury, IN and Marilyn (Ray) Miller of Arthur, IL and two brothers, Richard (Esther) Beachy of Arthur, IL and Ken Beachy of Arthur, IL,

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin and her parents, Alvin S. and Lovina Beachy

Dorothy was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.
