Dylan Abel Ascencio Morales

Dylan Abel Ascencio Morales, newborn baby boy of Brayan Ascencio and Laisha Michelly Morales or Arthur, IL passed away at 12:48 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Arcola, IL.  Father Angel Sierra will officiate.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. 

Dylan is survived by his parents, Brayan and Laisha; paternal grandparents, Juana Ascencio Barrios and Sivano Ascencio of Mexico; maternal grandparents, Sarai Morales and Valintin Molinero of Arthur, IL; paternal great grandparents, Magdaleno Ascencio and Victoria Barrios, and Alberta Ascencio; maternal great grandparents, Aurea Zamora Romero of Mexico, and Rosa Nava  Zaudio and Ismael Molinero of Arthur, IL; paternal aunts and uncles, Oscar Ascencio of Champaign, Adriana Ascencio of Mexico, Jose Ascencio of Champaign, Candido Ascencio of Champaign, Agugstina Ascencio, Saul Ascencio and Silvia Ascencio all of Mexico, and maternal aunts and uncles, Angel Sanchez and Ajair Molinero of Arthur, IL, Isabel Sanchez and Edgar Sanchez of Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandfather, Pedro Ascencio and maternal great grandfather, Jose Morales Beltran.
