EDITH L. CASTEEL, 81 of Mattoon, IL passed away at 4:30 P.M. on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Sarah Bush Lincoln Healthcare Center.



She was born February 7, 1931 in Watson, AR. She was a daughter of Elmer E. and Ida Mae (Holt) Sinkey.



She is survived by one son Tracy Gause, and several nieces and nephews.



She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.



Edith had owned an insurance business in California.



She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
