EDNA L. HERSCHBERGER, 76, of rural Arthur, IL passed away at 11:50 A.M. Sunday, May 22, 2011 at her residence.

Funeral services were held 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Adlai Miller residence, 1955 CR 1700 E, Arthur, IL. Bishop Daniel Chupp officiated. Burial will be in the Yoder Cemetery. Visitation was anytime after 1:00 P.M. Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Adlai Miller residence.

Edna was born April 20, 1935. She was a daughter of Levi D. and Elizabeth (Hochstedler) Yoder. She married Jonas D. Herschberger on September 13, 1956 in Arthur, IL.

Survivors include her husband Jonas Herschberger of Arthur, IL; one son Nelson J. Herschberger and his wife Anna Marie (Miller), two daughters Arlene J. Miller and her husband Adlai B., and Louise J. Herschberger and her husband Lonnie E.; one daughter-in-law, Ferne Herschberger of Arthur, IL; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Joe Yoder and his wife Rebecca of Middlebury, IN, Melvin Yoder and his wife Rosa of Arthur, IL, Andrew Yoder and his wife Viola of Russellville, KY and Henry Yoder and his wife Fern of Middlebury, IN, and two sisters, Mattie Miller and her husband Ezra Jay of Kolona, Ia and Fannie Miller and her husband Allen of Middlebury, IN

Her parents, one son Kenneth J. Herschberger, one stillborn sister, and three grandchildren, Ray Olen Herschberger, Lorene Miller and Jerry Miller preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Old Order Amish church.
