Edna Miller

EDNA J. MILLER, 90, of Arthur, IL passed away at 3:20 A.M. on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the HCK West building one mile south of Arthur, IL.  Interment will follow in the Miller Cemetery in Arcola, IL.  Bishop Philip Schrock will officiate.  Visitation will be held anytime after 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 18, 2018 and anytime after 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 19, 2018, all at the HCK West building. Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola, IL is assisting with arrangements.

Edna was born on December 19, 1927 in Arthur, IL to Jacob J. and Anna B. (Troyer) Miller.  She married Jacob M. Miller on August 16, 1946.  He passed away on March 9, 2008.

Survivors include three sons, Marvin Miller and his wife Kathryn (Gingerich) of McLeansboro, IL, Dennis Miller and his wife Fern (Miller) of Middlebury, IN, and David Miller and his wife Barbara (Kaufman) of Arthur, IL; five daughters, Anna Marie Yoder and her husband Lester of Arcola, IL, Lorene Helmuth of Arthur, IL, Rosa Miller of Sarasota, FL, Esther Miller of Arthur, IL and Carolyn Chupp and her husband Reuben of Arthur, IL; thirty-five grandchildren; 104 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Eash; her step-father; David Troyer; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one son-in-law, George Helmuth; four brothers, John Miller, William Miller, Ervin Miller Fred Miller; and three sisters, Elizabeth Otto, Sovilla Schrock and Esther Schrock.

Edna was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
