Edna Kauffman

EDNA (MILLER) KAUFFMAN, 63, of Arthur, IL passed away at 1:20 A.M. on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at her residence in rural Arthur, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the family residence 1610 County Road 2300 North in rural Arthur, IL. Bishop Nelson Diener will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery in Arthur, IL. Visitation will be any time prior to the funeral at the family residence. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Edna was born on May 29, 1948 in Plain City, OH. She was a daughter of Wallace and Martha (Plank) Miller. She married Joe E. Kauffman on August 17, 1972 in New Glarus, WI.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Kauffman of Arthur, IL; eight children, Lorene Plank and her husband David of Worthington, IN, Sarah Miller and her husband Marvin, Barbara Yoder and her Husband Wilbur, Susan Schrock and her husband Melvin, Miriam Kaufman and her husband Raymond all of Arthur, IL. Melvin, Ervin and Martha all still live at home. She has twenty one grandchildren; eleven siblings, Lester Miller and his wife Mary of Arthur, IL, Irene Schlabach and her husband Jonas of Paris, MO, Rachel Yoder and her husband Ben of Brodhead, WI, Amanda Detwieler and her husband Rudy of Brodhead, WI, Barbara Miller of Brodhead, WI, John Miller and his wife Erma of Checotah, OK, William Miller and his wife Rebecca of Albany, WI, Melvin Miller and his wife Linda of Brodhead, WI, Mary Miller and her husband William of Brodhead, WI, Susan Miller of Warsaw, OH, and David Miller and his wife Emma of Warsaw, OH and her Step-Mother, Clara Miller of Brodhead, WI.

Edna was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.
