ELEANOR TRIMBLE, 85, of Hindsboro, IL passed away at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, March 08, 2010 at Liberty Village in Princeton, IL.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main in Arcola, IL. Rev. Eric Garlic officiated. Visitation was from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 12, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial was held in the VanVoorhis Cemetery in Hindsboro, IL.

Eleanor was born on May 4, 1924 in Humboldt, IL. She was a daughter of Beecham and Dora (Hemingway) Maxwell. She married Harold “Pete” Trimble in June of 1943. He passes away September 21, 1998.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Schafer and her husband James of Princeton, IL and Janet Frampton of Tonawanda, NY; nine grandchildren, Jacquelyn Waterfield and her husband Glenn of Chillicothe, IL, Jill McCrory and her husband Brett of Bloomington, IL, Jarrod Schafer of Marshalltown, IA, Jason Schafer of Peoria, IL, Jennifer Swalla and her husband Brian of Eastland, MD, Terra Hicks and her husband Matthew, Noblesville, IN, Elizabeth Lown and her husband Nathan of Collinsville, IL, Audrey Frampton of Tonawanda, NY, Pvt. 1st Class John Peter Frampton (U.S. Marine Corp) of Ft. Leonardwood, MO; nine great-grandchildren, Grant and Gregory Waterfield, Madelyn Grace McCrory, Taylor and Ashley Swalla, Peter and Thomas Hicks and Benjamin and Alexander Lown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Vicki Jean Reinhart, one brother, Robert Maxwell and four sisters, Mary Jombock, Rose McCoin, Louise Worthington and Frances Cordts.

Eleanor was a very active member of the Hindsboro United Methodist Church.

She attended and later worked at the University of Illinois prior to marriage. Following her marriage to Harold, she enjoyed raising their family, living on a farm, gardening, canning, and raising flowers.

Memorials were made to the Hindsboro United Methodist Church.
