E. Pauline Wilson

E. Pauline Wilson, 99 of Urbana, IL formerly of Mt. Zion, IL passed away at 2:05 A.M. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Brethren Church, 209 S. Jefferson, Cerro Gordo, IL.  Rev. Terry Leach will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Cerro Gordo Cemetery.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral, from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the church.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Pauline was born on October 6, 1920 in Oakley, IL.  She was a daughter of Arthur and Maude (Moore) Snoke.  She married William “Bill” Wilson on June 27, 1942 in Decatur, IL.  He passed away on February 7, 2012.

She is survived by two sons, Mike Wilson and Jack Wilson, three grandchildren, Ryan Wilson of Revere, MA, Brooke Wilson of Miami, FL and Molly Dobbins and her husband Tyler Dobbins of Apex, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Mark Wilson, and four brothers, Charles Snoke, Everett Snoke, Irvin Snoke and John Snoke.

Pauline was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Decatur, IL and volunteered at St. Mary’s hospital.

She had worked as an office manager for Wickes Lumber in Decatur, IL for over 10 years.
