Ernest Mast

ERNEST LEE MAST, infant son of Daniel Ray and Millie Fern (Otto) Mast was stillborn at 3:46 A.M. Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

A private funeral service was held at 12:30 P.M. Sunday, September 14, 2008 at the family residence in rural Sullivan, IL. Bishop William C. Otto officiated. A graveside funeral was held at 2:30 P.M. on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at the Yoder Cemetery in rural Arthur, IL. Visitation was held Saturday Evening at the family residence. The Edwards Funeral Home assisted the family with funeral arrangements.

Ernest is survived by his parents, Daniel and Millie Mast of Sullivan, IL; two sisters, LouEtta Fern and Lora Rose Mast and a brother Glendon J. Mast all at home; his paternal grandparents, Ervin J. and Ida Mae Mast of Bloomfield, IA; maternal grandparents William C. and Dorothy Otto of Sullivan, IL; paternal great-grandmother, Elizabeth Mast of Bloomfield, IA and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ernest was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Edward Mast and William and Lovina Yoder and his maternal great-grandparents, Chris E. and Malinda L. Otto and Edward J. and Millie A. Gingerich.

His family is members of the Old Order Amish Faith.
