Ernest Wagler

ERNEST D. WAGLER, 66, of Odon, IN passed away at 11:05 A.M. Sunday, April 18, 2010 in Arthur, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Simon J. Graber Complex in Odon, IN. Bishop Jerry Yoder will officiate. Burial will be in the Caanan Fellowship Cemetery in Plainville, IN. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 19, 2010 beginning at 2:00 P.M. at the Simon J. Graber Complex. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Ernest was born March 15, 1944 in Daviess County, IN. He was a son of Aberham S. and Elizabeth Wagler. He married Lydia Kemp April 22, 1962.

Survivors include his wife Lydia Wagler of Odon, IN; nine children Marilyn Knepp and her husband Levi of Montgomery, IN, Sharon Allen and her husband Richard of Brownwood, TX, Vernon Wagler and his wife Renee of Washington, IN, Loretta Jess and her husband Reuben of Arthur, IL, Dorcas Swartzentruber and her husband Norman of Odon, IN, Verlin Wagler and his wife Lisa of Cannelburg, IN, Leota Wagler and her husband Marvin of Odon, IN, Juanita Wagler and Emanuel Wagler both of Odon, IN; twenty one grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; his father and step-mother, Aberham S. and Amanda Wagler of Montgomery, IN; four brothers, Roy Wagler and his wife Ida of Loogootee, IN, Larry Wagler and his wife Rachel of Cannelburg, IN, Darvin Wagler and his wife Darla of Loogootee, IN and Gary Wagler and his wife Karen of Plainfield, IN; two sisters Rita Wittmer and her husband Harvey of Odon, IN and Anna Mae Sweet and her husband Wayne of Sarasota, Florida.

His mother Elizabeth Wagler and one brother Delbert Wagler preceded him in death.

He was retired from Daviess County Metal Sales.
