ERVIN A. SCHROCK, 74, of Arthur, IL passed away at 8:43 A.M. on Wednesday, December 03, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Funeral service will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the HCK West Building, 2008 CR 1800 East, one mile south of Arthur, IL. Bishop Daniel Chupp will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, December 5, 2014 at the HCK West Building and any time after 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 7, 2014, also at the HCK West Building. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.

Ervin was born March 3, 1940 in Lovington, IL. He was a son of Andy A. and Druscilla (Yoder) Schrock. He married Dorothy Beachy on October 15, 1959 in Arthur, IL.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy Schrock; five children Viola Otto and her husband Daniel of Arthur, IL, Larry Schrock and his wife Marjorie (Miller) of Kokomo, IN, Darlene Otto and her husband Aden of Arthur, IL, Steven Schrock and his wife Lina (Rodas) of Kokomo, IN and Le Ann Gingerich and her husband Wilbur of Arthur, IL; sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a twin sister, Irene Otto and her husband John of Arthur, IL; three brothers, Adlai Schrock and his wife Jane of Goshen, IN, Joe Schrock and his wife Sarah of Lovington, IL and Howard Schrock and his wife Mary of Sullivan, IL, and one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Schrock of Sullivan, IL.

Ervin was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Melvin Schrock.

Ervin was retired from farming and has worked at Heartland Machine and Supply in rural Arthur, IL for several years.

Ervin has always enjoyed being on the farm, spending time with family and friends but he especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren.

Ervin was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.
