Fannie Kauffman

Fannie Marie (Mast) Kauffman, 77 years, 10 months, of Arcola, IL passed away at 9:30 P.M. on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Arthur Home.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the HCK West Building one mile south of Arthur, IL. Bishop Jake Stutzman will officiate.  Interment will be in the Miller Cemetery in Arcola, IL.  Visitation will be held anytime after 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 21, 2019 and anytime after 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the HCK West Building.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Fannie was born on March 21, 1941 in Douglas County.  She was a daughter of Jonas B. and Maggie J. (Schrock) Mast.  She married Jake S. Kauffman on March 12, 1964 in Arcola, IL.

She is survived by her husband, Jake S. Kauffman of Arcola, IL; one son, Joe Kauffman of Tuscola, IL; one daughter, Rosanna, married Eldon Miller of Arcola, IL; six grandchildren, Christine married Leonard Schlabach of Lovington, IL, Lorraine married John Chupp of Arthur, IL, and Mark, Loren, Jared and Jayden Miller all of Arcola, IL; one great-grandson, Kendall; two brothers, John Henry Mast of Humboldt, IL, Adlai “Butch” Mast and his wife Sandy of Arcola, IL; four sisters, Annie married Kenneth Kauffman of Tuscola, IL, Katie married Chrissie Yoder of Arcola, IL, Amanda married Henry Chupp of Arcola, IL, and Leah Married Reuben Kaufman of Arcola, IL; one sister-in-law, Joyce Mast of Humboldt, IL; and one brother-in-law, Nelson Kauffman and his wife Ella of Humboldt, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sons; one granddaughter, Regina Miller; two brothers, an infant, Andy Mast and Clarence Virgil Mast; three sisters, Mary Ellen Mast, Alta J. Kauffman and Tillie Sanders and a stillborn sibling.

Fannie was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
