FANNIE J. MILLER, 90, of Hindsboro, IL passed away at 12:10 P.M. Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at her residence in Hindsboro, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Kemp Church of Christ in Kemp, IL. Rev. Randy Sells will officiate. Burial will be in the VanVoorhis Cemetery in Hindsboro, IL. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Edwards Funeral Home
Fannie was born December 4, 1923 in Arthur, IL. She was a daughter of Joel J. and Katie Ann (Schlabach) Kauffman. She married Jonas A. Miller on September 18, 1947 in Arthur, IL. He passed away January 20, 2009.
Survivors include five children, Kenneth Miller and his wife Carol of Arthur, IL, Raymond Miller and his wife Brenda of Tuscola, IL, William Miller of Charleston, IL, Larry Miller and his wife Martie of Hindsboro, IL and Kathryn Cozart and her husband O.J. of Mt. Vernon, IL; fourteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; four sisters, Elsie Yoder of Arcola, IL, Verna Kuhns and her husband Harvey of Tuscola, IL, Mary Ellen Lee and her husband Lester of Arthur, IL and Irene Kauffman of Arthur, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jonas, four brothers, Jacob, Ervin, Eli and Daniel Kauffman and three sisters, Alma Kuhns, Annie Mae Otto and Abbie Kauffman.
Fannie was raised in the Amish Faith, she became a member of the Sunnyside Mennonite Church and was currently attending the Kemp Church of Christ. Her love for the Lord was evident in everything she did.
Fannie always had a big garden. She enjoyed quilting, making rugs and she loved spending time visiting with family and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Kemp Church of Christ or Lincolnland Hospice.
