Frances Pesha

FRANCES PESHA, 84, of Arcola, IL passed away at 9:38 A.M on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 31, 2011 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main in Arcola, IL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.

Frances was born on November 30, 1926 in Nebraska. She was daughter of Frank and Blanche (LeRiger) Pesha.

Frances is survived by one sister, Blanche Shutts of Mattoon, IL and one brother, Joe Pesha of Manito, IL; twenty-four nieces and nephews and many, many great-nieces and nephews as well as her family at hope house in Arcola, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Rose Campbell and Mary Ann Thompson, one brother Bill Pesha, and two nephews, James R. Cobb and Mark Thompson.

Frances has lived at hope house in Arcola, IL since 1989. She attended St. John’s Catholic Church in Arcola, IL. Participated in Special Olympics for several years, loved playing bingo, putting puzzles together and watching Bonanza reruns on TV.

Frances attended C.C.A.R. for years and was currently attending the Bluementhal Program in Charleston, IL
