Gary Buck

Gary Buck, 63, of Mayview, died Sunday, March 8, in rural Champaign County. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, from noon to 1 p.m., at Edwards Funeral Home, 221 E. Main, Arcola, followed by a funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Arthur cemetery.
Gary was born on November 19, 1945, the son of Alley Dean and Addie Jane Buck. He was married to J.R. Tinnon. She preceded him in death on August 15, 2008. Surviving are his children Jeff of Fairmount, Susan of Urbana, and David of Arizona and five grandchildren.
Gary was founder and owner of Able Aire Heating and Air Conditioning. He was an avid pilot and member of the Illini Sky Riders. He was also active in the local rocket club and ham radio club.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Champaign County Humane Society in the name of Gary and J.R. Buck.
