Gina Walker

GINA RAE WALKER, 50, of Mattoon, IL passed away at 11:10 A.M. on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Providence Church, 708 S. 9th Street in Mattoon, IL. Pastor Casey Reece will officiate. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the Memorial service at the church. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Gina was born on July 9, 1965 in Mattoon, IL. She was a daughter of Charles and Peggy (England) Carlyle. She married Leonard Walker on February 1, 1991 in Shelbyville, IL.

She is survived by her husband Leonard Walker of Mattoon, IL, two daughters, Brianna Otto and her husband Christy of Mattoon, IL and Kaylie Walker of Mattoon, IL; one granddaughter, Aubrey Elise Otto; her parents, Charles “Gene” and Peggy Carlyle of Mattoon, IL; one brother, Brian Carlyle of Mattoon, IL and one sister, Kelly Byfield and her husband Rick of Edgerton, KS.

Gina was a member of the Providence Church in Mattoon, IL.

She enjoyed reading, music, spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Aubrey.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
