Gloria Seaton

GLORIA MAE SEATON, 68, of Mattoon, IL passed away at 6:24 P.M. on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

A memorial service was held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 27, 2013 at Palm Terrace, 1000 Palm Avenue in Mattoon, IL. Rev. Patrick Murphy officiated. Private burial of cremains was in the Roselawn Cemetery in Charleston, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisted with arrangements.

Gloria was born on December 25, 1944 in Charleston, IL. She was a daughter of Ernest Glen and Fern Maxine (Lake) Seaton.

She is survived by one sister, Connie Young and her husband Richard of Greenwood Village, CO and one brother, Gary Seaton of Charleston, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, James Randall Seaton.

Gloria was a member of the First Baptist Church of Charleston, IL where she had sung in the church choir. She also attended the First Baptist Church of Mattoon, IL.

Gloria also volunteered for the Special Olympics.
