HAROLD LLOYD RUSSELL SR., 77 of La Place, IL passed away at 6:50 A.M. on Sunday, July 20, 2008 in Decatur, IL.
Harold was born on September 11, 1930. He was a son of Kenneth L. and Jeanette Alberta (McNally) Russell.
He is survived by four children, Harold Lloyd “Rusty” Russell Jr. and his wife Kim of Hillsboro, TN, Paula Jeanette Russell of Smithfield, NC, Kenneth Edward Russell and his wife Lori of Decatur, IL and Kyra Carlson and her husband Charles of Decatur, IL,
His close companion Barbara Rambo of Decatur, IL; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Leslie J. Russell of Decatur, IL, Leland Russell of Decatur, IL and Mitchell Russell and his wife Barbara of Phenix, Alabama and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, one brother, Kenneth Russell and one sister, Fleita Mary Russell preceded him in death.
Harold was a 50-year member of the Laborer’s Union # 159
He worked hard, he played hard and in the end he surrendered all.
