Harold Walters

WILLIAM HAROLD WALTERS, 84, of Arcola, IL passed away at 4:44 P.M. on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

Masonic Rites conducted by the Arcola Masonic Lodge AF and AM will be held at Noon on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main in Arcola, IL, funeral services will be held immediately following the masonic rites. Rev. Duane Piercy will officiate. Burial with Military Rites conducted by the Arcola VFW will be in the Arcola Cemetery.

Harold was born October 26, 1928. He was a son of Logan and Perle Walters. He married Alice Woods on April 15, 1966 in Phoenix, AZ. She passed away February 15, 2005.

Survivors include one son Michael L Woods Sr. and his wife Carol of Tuscola, IL; two grandchildren Nikki Jo Woods-Stahler and her husband Mark of Tuscola, IL and Michael L. Woods Jr. and his wife Michelle of Chatham, IL; two great grandchildren, Sage Carol Stahler and Seth Michael Stahler both of Tuscola, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and 2 sisters.

Harold was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War.

Harold was a member of the Arcola Masonic Lodge No. 366 AF & AM. He was a retired teamster. Harold enjoyed being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren
